10 New Year's Resolutions for a Healthier 2018 and Beyond

(The Best Years in Life) It's that time of year again when many of us resolve to make improvements in our lives and habits for the coming year. Often, such resolutions have to do with improving our health, such as losing excess weight or quitting smoking. Besides such obvious areas as weight loss and putting down cigarettes, there are a number of other resolutions many of us could make to improve our health. Here are ten such resolutions which are almost certain to lead to a healthier 2018 and beyond:
1. Resolve to Look First to Nature for Healing and Health Issues
2. Resolve to Eat Healthier and Go Organic as Much as Possible
3. Resolve to Eliminate Toxins from Your Home and Body
As the late, great French Scientist Antoine Bechamp told us many years ago, the number one cause of disease and illness is toxins, especially when combined with unhealthy cellular terrain which has not been properly nourished, cleaned, hydrated and oxygenated. Thanks to man’s unnatural chemicals and pollution, toxins are everywhere, including our food, air, water and soils. Though we cannot avoid toxins entirely, we can eliminate many of them by getting rid of toxic household items such as cleansers, pesticides, herbicides, and cosmetics and replacing those items with natural ones. 4. Resolve to Drink Plenty of Water Daily and Juice Regularly
Plenty of water is essential to keep our bodies and cells properly hydrated as well as cleansed. A good rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day. In other words, if you weigh 200 pounds you should drink 100 ounces of water daily. And you should drink even more on days when you are engaged in strenuous exercises.
Juice regularly with healthy vegetables and a few fruits. Be sure to use a quality, low RPM juicer and don't fall for the hype of some high RPM juicers such as NutriBullet. In addition to enjoying juicing throughout the week, a one day a week "juice only" day will do wonders to eliminate toxins, provide a nutritional boost and help you reach and maintain a healthy weight. Humans were designed to spend most of our time outdoors experiencing nature is essential for optimal health of both the body and the soul (or mind) for many reasons. Some reasons are obvious, like fresh air with more oxygen from grass, trees and other plants converting CO2 into oxygen. Others, such as grounding (or earthing) and contact with beneficial soil bacteria are more subtle but have very big health benefits including enhancing our natural immune system as well as elevating and renewing our mood and spirit. 8. Resolve to Get Plenty of Vitamin D3 (Via Natural Sunshine as Much as Possible)
Too many people have been fooled into avoiding ample exposure to sunshine, thanks to mainstream misinformation. The abundant truth is that direct and indirect sunshine are essential for optimum health. First of all, sunshine on the skin creates essential Vitamin D3, which is different than and superior to any supplemental forms of D3. Vitamin D3, which is actually a steroid, wards off disease and illness and is essential for healthy bones. Secondly, it has been determined that the body also utilizes indirect sunlight in the eyes for optimum health. While you should endeavor to eat as healthily as possible and get maximum nutrition from your diet, do not fall for the myth that a healthy diet alone will provide all the nutrition you need for optimal health. Such an idea is a mainstream myth and the truth is that it is next to impossible to have a diet that provides even the measly minimum RDA amounts of a handful of vitamins and minerals, much less the optimum daily amounts of all the vitamins and minerals, trace minerals, and literally hundreds of other nutrients our bodies are designed to utilize.
