Best Ever All Vegan 'Ice-Cream'

Who says you have to use dairy products or eggs to make a delicious "ice cream"? This completely vegan recipe is super easy, healthy and oh so yummy. If you thin this down, it makes a nice shake also. The ice-cream recipe doesn't call for much of the milks. Play with it, you'll know how much you will need as you learn to make it. The bananas add both creaminess and natural sweetness. Enjoy!

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 cup of frozen fruit, strawberries, peaches or blue berries
1 baggy of frozen sliced banana
raw organic honey or vegan maple syrup to taste
Coconut, almond or rice milk to consistency preferred

Always freeze any left over peaches or bananas. Slice your bananas before freezing. One banana to a baggy. Use a food processor for this recipe to make it creamy. If the fruit doesn't want to blend, add about 1/4 cup of your milk at the beginning. If need be, the mix can be chilled for several minutes to harden.  For easier mixing, blend your honey or maple syrup with your milk prior to adding and blending it in with the other ingredients.

Suggestions: For a chunkier version, cut some of the frozen fruit in bits and add after you have blended the ice cream.  You can also add healthy almonds for a nutty version.  For a healthy and crunchy version, add wheat germ on the top when you put the ice cream in bowls.

Healthy Notes:
For the very healthiest recipe, use organic ingredients as much as possible. Do NOT use soy milk, as non-fermented soy is decidedly unhealthy despite the soy industry's false promotions.

Serves: 2 or 3

Preparation time: 5 to 10 minutes
