Bogus Paper Claims Antioxidants Make Cancers Worse
by Tony Isaacs
(The Best Years in Life)
The lamestream media and
mainstream medicine crowd were awash
with headlines recently about a paper
published in the New England Journal of
Medicine (NEJM) which proposes that
antioxidants could make cancers worse.
Eating foods rich in antioxidants is bad
for you? What utter bullcrap – and
apparently yet another attempt to turn
people away from nature.
“(The study authors) PROPOSE why antioxidant supplements MIGHT not be working to reduce cancer development, and why they MAY actually do more harm than good.” (Emphasis added).
The previous studies the authors used to come up with what amounts to a blanket condemnation of all antioxidants were actually studies only on a tiny number of antioxidants and were mostly petri dish (in vitro) and rodent studies. More critically, the studies did not use natural whole food derived antioxidants but rather synthetic petrochemical coal tar derivatives – as has been the case with virtually every mainstream study on vitamins which have shown no benefits and even potential harm. Funny thing about our natural bodies: Things not found in nature, including mainstream chemo and other drugs and fake vitamins are recognized by our bodies as toxins and can indeed be harmful.
