Five Healthy Delightful Frozen Fruit Pops

(The Best Years in Life) Do you love frozen pops, but worry about all the sugar, colorings and other less than healthy ingredients in most of the store-bought ones?  Well, worry no more and instead use your imagination and healthy ingredients such as the ones in the following frozen pop recipes.  Don't have popsicle molds?  No problem - you can use any number of things for molds, such as paper cups, ice-cube trays, etc.  Here's a helpful hint: For the frozen pops made in molds, run warm water over the mold for a few seconds and then pull out the pop.

Chocolate Covered Kiwis

6 large kiwis, peeled using this awesome method, cut into 1/3"-1/2" thick rounds
1 cup dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup coconut oil
popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks

Slice the peeled kiwis into rounds with a lollipop stick in each one. Place on a tray lined with wax paper or parchment. Freeze and dip into a mixture of the coconut oil and melted chocolate. Eat or re-freeze.

Cinnamon Vanilla Almond Butter Banana Pops

2 bananas
1/3 cup almond butter
½ tsp vanilla
¼ tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup all natural dark chocolate pieces or chips (at least 60% cacao)
1 T coconut oil
popsicle sticks or bamboo skewers

In this recipe, you slice peeled bananas in half and make sandwich with almond butter and a popsicle stick between the two banana slices. Then you freeze and dip in melted dark chocolate. See the complete recipe at

Ginger-Cantaloupe Fruit Pops

8 ounces fresh cantaloupe, seeded, peeled, and diced
8 ounces fresh papaya, seeded, peeled and diced
12 ounces almond milk
1 ounce ginger root, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons granulated raw organic sugar or organic raw honey

Blend until smooth and then use frozen pop molds, paper cups, ice cube trays or whatever and freeze until ready. Use your imagination and try different combinations!  See the complete recipe at:

Mango Kiwi Raspberry Pops

Blend each fruit, separately in a blender with a tiny bit of water to get a nice consistency that is not too thin.

Next, add these layers into your pop moulds, and freeze for 1-2 hours!  If your blended fruit turned out to be a bit thin, you can freeze one section and then pour in the next and repeat until you have a completely frozen pop.

Watermelon Blueberry Strawberry Kiwi Pops

3 cups watermelon puree (seedless if possible)
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
1 peach or nectarine, diced small
handful fresh cherries, pitted and chopped

Cut the watermelon into chunks and puree in a blender until smooth. Fill your molds with the chopped fresh fruit, insert a popsicle stick and freeze 6-8 hours.
