Every Mass Shooting in the Past 20 Years has One Thing in Common – and It’s Not Guns
by Barbara Minton
(The Best Years in Life) In a move to further gut the Second Amendment and assure that only criminals and the government will have guns, President Obama has unveiled his new gun control plans as he continues to call for reducing the number of guns in spite of our Constitutionally guaranteed right to own them and the will of the Congress which has rejected his anti-gun programs. What he continues to ignore is that most mass shootings are the province of Big Pharma, makers of SSRI drugs that encourage suicide and mass killings. To reduce the mayhem, it isn't guns which should be curtailed - it is SSRIs.
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are the most commonly used class of antidepressants, prescribed to ease symptoms of moderate to severe depression. There are several formulations in the class, with Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac, Celexa, Luvox and Effexor being the most commonly prescribed. GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly, and Pfizer are among the makers of these drugs, and they each claim SSRIs are safe. However a poignant video clip from an ABC feature complete with survivors, parents and doctors has documented this as another drug company lie.
This video contains the haunting stories of teens and adults who took SSRI drugs for various forms of depression and committed violence against themselves:
*There is a teenager who hanged herself after taking Zoloft for four days
*Another young woman who viciously mutilated herself, and still another who slashed her wrists
*A father who holds a photo of his 12 year old daughter, since it is all he has after she committed suicide eight weeks after beginning Paxil and Zoloft
*Parents of a high school girl scoring 1300 on her SAT who had to pick out a cemetery plot instead of a university because she killed herself shortly after taking SSRIs
*A father who recalls his son saying he could not stand the way his SSRIs were making him feel, and two days later he killed himself
*Another parent who watched her child deliberately run into the path of a moving car
Repeatedly the bereaved parents explain that it was not the depression that caused such an outcome. People with depression are low on psychic energy and lack the will to act. These parents firmly believe it was the SSRI drugs that destroyed their children.
The video also includes some who lived to tell of their experiences:
*A young women who put a gun under her chin and pulled the trigger. Though her fact is mutilated, she tells of her experience
*A young woman who tells of being depressed but never suicidal as a child. Since being on SSRIs, she has constant thoughts and visions of hurting and killing herself
Those who killed others while on the drugs have greater notoriety. You are almost sure to remember such names as Dyland Klebold and Eric Harris, the two who killed 13 and wounded 26 more in the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999. Harris was on Luvox when the crime occurred, and although Klebold’s medical records were sealed right after the mass killing, a friend of his told reporters he was on Paxil and Zoloft.
More recently there is James Holmes, who killed 12 people and wounded 58 in the 2012 tragedy in a Colorado movie theater. Police found the generic version of Zoloft in his apartment. There are many more, in fact the perpetrators of any mass killing are now assumed to be on SSRIs.
SSRI drugs are given out like candy
SSRIs are usually prescribed by general practitioners who are guided only by information from the visiting pharmaceutical sales rep. Psychiatrists use them too. Dr. Alice Domar from the Harvard Medical School says that all you need to do is walk into a doctor’s office and say you are feeling down, and you will be given a prescription for SSRIs. This ease of access can turn a relatively minor bout of depression into a nightmare.
World renown antidepressant drug expert Dr. David Healy, says “We are not just picking up people who were ill and need to be treated. We’ve gone way beyond that and are actually making people ill.” He questions what kind of society we have become “when increasingly it seems pharmaceutical companies can get drugs on the market which haven’t been shown to work and which have been claimed to be safe and effective when they aren’t.”
Why do SSRIs continue to exist? The answer is simply that they are big money makers.
To end mass shooting, end SSRIs
Anyone who surely wants to end or at least reduce mass shootings and so-called terrorism needs to understand that lawmakers are choosing to blackout mainstream media coverage and sweeping the destruction from SSRIs under the rug. Many credible scientific studies that go back more than a decade have highlighted the dangers of SSRIs, but this information has been suppressed. In addition, internal documents from pharmaceutical companies revealing the dangers of SSRIs and their side effects that include suicide and violent behavior have gone unreported. The lists of such violent occurrences are easily found on the internet. One popular site has documented more than 4500 reported cases from around the world of violent behavior in those taking these drugs.

Iodine deficiency is a worldwide problem. Diets that are deficient in iodine can result in many severe medical conditions including cretinism ( very severe brain damage occurring in very early life), mental impairment, reduced intellectual ability, goiter, and infertility. Also, iodine deficiency predisposes one to an increased risk of breast, prostate and other cancers.
Selenium is an important co-factor for iodine and Selenium Synergy® contains the most effective selenium compound, Methylselenocysteine, combined with BroccoMax® (rich in sulforaphane glucosinolate), Vitamin B2 (as riboflavin) and Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate). Each serving of Selenium Synergy® contains 200 mcg of selenium from methylselenocysteine. Vitamins B2 and E are important to the metabolism of selenium.
