Amazing Persimmon Salsa
When many people think of persimmons, they think of the tasty fruit that is mostly large seeds and which will pucker your lips if you eat it before it is ripe. However, there is also a large and luscious variety of persimmons which grows in southern climes which is mostly fruit and truly delicious. If you are lucky enough to find this large variety of persimmon, it is excellent to use in this unusual salsa which is sure to be a super-healthy taste delight!
(As always, choose organic
content and fresh content as
much as possible for the
1. Blend all persimmons in a Vitamix or other quality blender, and pour into a large serving bowl.
2. Chop all other ingredients or dice them as you see fit. Dicing them together on one cutting board helps the flavors and ingredients to mix well.
3. Pour all of the chopped ingredients into the bowl of persimmons.
4. Dig in your hands (or use utensils if you don't want to use your hands), and mix all ingredients together until they are completely mixed.
