“This Ol' Country Bar”

Well, I’ve been to many places and I’ve been both near and far
But I always keep coming back to this ol’ country bar
You can have your city lights and you can have your fancy cars
I’ll just take my pickup truck down to this ol’ country bar
This ol’ country bar don’t have a big screen TV
It don’t have fifty video games and that’s all right with me
I’ll take that old pool table that looks like it’s been to war
And the jukebox with my favorite songs in this ol’ country bar
Yeah, I’ve been to the big city and I’ve driven fancy cars
And I’ve seen brighter places than this ol’ country bar
But the city’s sight in cold daylight just left me longing for
All those things I’d left behind here in this ol’ country bar
Well, this ol’ country bar don’t have a big screen TV
It don’t have fifty video games and that’s all right with me
I’ll take that old pool table that looks like it’s been to war
And the jukebox with my favorite songs in this old country bar
Life out there’s pretty fickle, and true friends are few and far
But the beer runs cold and friends run true in this ol’ country bar
Having good times and good friends, now that’s what life is for
And I’ve had plenty of both of them in this ol’ country bar
Yeah, this ol’ country bar don’t have a big screen TV
